Cathodic protection of gas pipelines is a consolidated reality and included in the ARERA resolutions, the APCE objective is to propose equivalent solutions also to the new designs of aqueducts made with steel pipes, as well as to the revamping of structures prepared for the application of cathodic protection.
In this scenario it is worthwhile to delve deeper into: scope of application of cathodic protection, minimum requirements for structures, minimum monitoring requirements, plant maintenance rules, i.e. APCE Guidelines for the cathodic protection of aqueducts.
